RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Professor Kinet's laboratory focuses on the mechanisms and biological consequences of calcium signaling in cells of the immune system, and on the role of mast cells and their receptors in inflammation.

Professor Kinet has authored over 170 publications, holds 13 issued patents, and is renowned for his discovery and characterization of the genes and proteins that encode the high affinity IgE receptor, a key to triggering allergic reactions.
