BIOGRAPHY

ACADEMIC POSITION:
Dr Wang is currently at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA

EDUCATION:
BSc and PhD degrees in Molecular Biology and Molecular Medicine from Nankai University, Tianjin, China

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:
Dr Wang is on the editorial boards of Biochemia Medica, Genetics and Molecular Research, and Journal of Translational Medicine. He has also been invited as a reviewer for many prestigious journals, including American Journal of Pathology, American Journal of Physiology, Cancer Research, etc. Dr Wang is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research.

AWARDS:
1998: First Prize, National Chemistry Olympiad Competition, Awarded by National Chemistry Society

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr Wang's research interests span a broad area of molecular and cellular biology as well as genetic epidemiology of malignant diseases, with particular interest in breast and prostate cancers.
