BIOGRAPHY
Associations:I'm a member of the ASA, ATS, and the respective German societies for pulmonology and for anesthesia and intensive care medicine.
Research interests:
Pulmonary physiology and pathophysiology in the context of regional and general anesthesia.
I'm particularly interested in obstructive airway diseases and airway hyperreactivity under the influence of regional anesthesia, local anesthetics and general anesthesia. Furthermore, I'm interested in the impact of general anesthesia on respiratory drive.
