BIOGRAPHY

ACADEMIC POSITIONS:
Jerome Fleg is Medical Officer in the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. He is Guest Researcher at the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Science, Gerontology Research Center, National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health and staff member of the Department of Cardiology, National Naval Medical Center.

MEMBERSHIPS/EDITORIAL POSITIONS:
Professor Fleg is an active member of numerous professional societies and a Fellow of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Prevention. He is on the Editorial Boards of the American Journal of Cardiology, the American Heart Journal, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Aging: Clinical and Experimental Research, Coronary Artery Disease, the Journal of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, the Journal of Cardiac Failure, and the Journal of Geriatric Cardiology.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Geriatric cardiology, exercise physiology, and heart failure.
