BIOGRAPHY
ACADEMIC POSITION:Jonathan Gleadle is a Consultant Nephrologist at Flinders Medical Centre and Professor at Flinders University and is continuing to pursue his activities in clinical medicine, teaching and research.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
He is currently heading an independent Research Group at Flinders focusing on the regulation of gene expression by oxygen and its implications for renal diseases. His research interests have focussed on the sensing of oxygen by cells; a topic with broad relevance to the understanding of cellular physiology, ischaemic disease and cancer.
