BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Zulfiqar Ahmed is a board-certified anesthesiologist with fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology. He is currently a staff anesthesiologist and director of research at Children's Hospital of Michigan and assistant professor of Anesthesiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine.Dr. Ahmed's primary research interests are in pediatric pharmacology and pediatric pain management. There are two randomized trials ongoing at present along with a number of other projects which include review articles and retrospective data analysis.
Recently published articles include studies in the area of pediatric use of Aprotinin for perioperative blood conservation, robotic surgery, pediatric diabetes and pediatric airway.
