BIOGRAPHY
ACADEMIC POSITION:Since 2007 Oliver Wolf is a full professor (tenure position) for Cognitive Psychology at the Ruhr University Bochum in Germany.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
As a post-doc he worked at the New York University School of Medicine and at Rockefeller University (1998-2000). He obtained his PhD in Psychology at the University of Trier in Germany (1997), where he also had received his Diploma (1995).

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
His main research interest focuses on the influence of emotions on cognitive processes. More specifically, he investigates the influence of stress on learning and memory in humans. Recently, another line of research has developed focussing on social cognition.
