BIOGRAPHY
Craig Weinert is Co-Medical Director of the MICU, University of Minnesota Medical Center. He is Firm Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, Chair of the Critical Care Committee and Medical Director of the Rapid Response Team there.Dr Weinert's primary research interest is to find interventions that accelerate recovery from critical illness. He has focused on psychiatric conditions such as depression and PTSD and is investigating whether conditions or exposures that occur during mechanical ventilation affect the prevalence of these conditions after critical illness.
