All industry positions (in last five years): Research interests: Use biologic markers to identify subgroup of patients with Barrett's esophagus at high risk of developing adenocarcinoma; document reversal of Barrett's; colon cancer prevention study on the effects of wheat bran fiber

Any other information: Dr Sampliner is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians. He also serves on the Training and Education Committee of the ACG and MKSAP 11 and 12 Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He received the Distinguished Clinician Award, American Gastroenterological Association, 2004.
