BIOGRAPHY

Research Interests
Dr. Furman's research interests include improving the testing methods relating to balance system abnormalities, increasing the understanding of human inner ear (vestibular) function, and enhancing the rehabilitation of people with inner ear disease.

Education
Dr. Furman received his medical and doctorate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency training in the Department of Neurology, University of California, Los Angeles. In addition, he took fellowships in nonsurgical neurotology at the University of Toronto and at the University of California, Los Angeles.
