ACADEMIC POSITION:Professor, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Alfred Hospital, Prahran, Victoria
EDUCATION:
Undergraduate degree and PhD in physiology at the University of Oxford. Training in internal medicine, clinical pharmacology, cardiology and cardiovascular research in Cardiff (UK), Edinburgh (UK) and Heidelberg (Germany).
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Animal studies in relation to acute myocardial ischaemia, cardiac hypertrophy, cardiac autonomic function and atherosclerosis. Clinical research in vascular properties and coronary heart disease.
