BIOGRAPHY

Marie-Emilie Terret is an Associate Faculty Member who works with Marie-Hélène Verlhac to evaluate the literature relevant to their research interests.

Research scientist 1st class at INSERM, Team Asymmetric Divisions in Oocytes, CIRB, Collège de France, Paris, France

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Marie-Emilie Terret works with Marie-Hélène Verlhac to research the meiotic divisions of mouse oocytes. In particular the role played by the original route of activation of MAPK (mitogen activated protein kinase) in the control of asymmetric divisions (process migration zone to the cortex of the oocyte) in the absence of replication during the transition from the first and second division of meiosis and arrest in metaphase of the second meiotic division.
