BIOGRAPHY
Dave Bridges is an Associate Faculty Member who works with Lois Weisman to evaluate the literature relevant to their research interests.Dave Bridges also has responsibility for checking the contents of the following journals to ensure that the highest quality research relevant to their own interests within these publications is comprehensively and systematically evaluated for F1000:

ACADEMIC POSITION:

EDUCATION:
Upon graduation I completed a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry in the Department of Biological Sciences of the University of Calgary. During this time, I had my first laboratory experience as an Undergraduate thesis student with Dr David Waisman.
I did my doctoral work with Dr Greg Moorhead in Biochemistry in the Department of Biological Sciences of the University of Calgary. Greg is an expert in protein phosphorylation, especially protein serine/threonine phosphatases. During this time I worked on the identification and characterization of several protein phosphatases in mammalian cells.
Since 2005, I have been a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Dr Alan Saltiel's Laboratory at the Life Sciences Institute of the University of Michigan.

Phosphatidylinositol metabolism and signaling
Regulation of intracellular trafficking
Regulation of primary metabolism and nutrient homeostasis
