MEMBERSHIPS/AWARDS:
Peter Hagoort was elected as member of the International Neuropsychological Symposium (INS). INS is a restricted membership society that brings together the world's best known specialists in the field of neuropsychology and has a maximum number of 124 members wordlwide. It meets once a year.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Neural correlates of the control of verbal and non-verbal actions. The project uses chronometric and neuroimaging techniques (i.e. functional magnetic resonance imaging) to examine the role of the lateral prefrontal and anterior cingulate cortices in goal-directed responding.
