Research interests:
Dr. Rosenwasser's research interests include the molecular, cellular and genetic regulation of cytokines, the genetics of atopy and asthma, the role of cytokines in asthma, and vasculitis.

Dr. Rosenwasser is Past President of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and he is a former member of the Board of Directors of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is presently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and has served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Immunology, Cellular Immunology Genes and Immunity and the International Archives of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Rosenwasser has also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Year Book of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology since 1994. Dr. Rosenwasser has published over 130 original publications as well as invited reviews and book chapters in journals such as New England Journal of Medicine , Journal of Experimental Medicine, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA, Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, and American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology and Journal of Clinical Investigation . Dr. Rosenwasser has also served on a number of government and foundation committees for grant review including NIAID-AIDS RC, NIH-IMS, AF, AHA, ALA, GRC-AAAAI and NIAID-Hyper ID scientific review group.

Dr. Rosenwasser received the Solomon A. Berson Alumni Achievement Award for research in clinical science from NYU. He also received the NIAID Allergic Diseases Academic Award (1984-1989).
