BIOGRAPHY
Suzanne C Ho is the Research Professor of Community and Family Medicine and Head of Division of Epidemiology of School of Public Health. She also serves as Director of Centre of Research and Promotion of Women's Health, Deputy Director of the Centre for Emerging Infectious Diseases and Co-Director of Postgraduate Programme in Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the School of Public Health of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.Professor Ho is the Founding Member and has served as President of the Hong Kong Epidemiological Association (2004-2007). Professor Ho's major research interests are in women's health, aging, nutritional epidemiology, particularly osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, breast cancer risks in women and the health effects of soy. She has also coordinated community-based studies on acute gastroenteritis in the general population and early homes. Prof. Ho has obtained a number of competitive local as well as international research grants for studies in the above mentioned areas.EVALUATIONS
