RESEARCH INTERESTS:
The pathophysiology of acute renal failure: acute tubular necrosis (ATN), renal hypoxic stress response, renal microcirculation, radiocontrast-induced renal failure, diabetic tubulopathy, acute-on-chronic renal failure. Methodologies: in-vivo animal models, isolated perfused rat kidneys, laser-Doppler and ultrasonic flow probes, renal morphology (collaborator – S Rosen), and immunohistochemistry (collaborators – C Rosenberger, Z Abassi).
