BIOGRAPHY

Sripal Bangalore is a Fellow in the Division of Cardiology, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center.
He is on the Editorial Board of Cardiology Today and a Member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, the American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin, the Association of Black Cardiologist, the American Society of Hypertension, and the Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He has won a number of awards in the past few years, i.e. the 9th Annual Joan Barber Memorial Research Award (2007-2008), the 2007 Association of Black Cardiologist Travel Award for the American College of Cardiology, the 2005-2006 Young Investigator Award by the New York Chapter of American College of Cardiology and the 2004-2005 Joan Barber Memorial Research Award by the New York Echocardiography Society
