BIOGRAPHY

Francisca is an Associate Faculty Member who works with Andi Shane to evaluate the literature relevant to the their research interests.

Francisca has been an Associate Faculty Member since the 29th April 2010. Having initially contributed as a member of the Epidemiology Section (Public Health & Epidemiology Faculty), Francisca transferred to the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Section of the Infectious Diseases Faculty on the 20th September 2011.

Francisca also has the responsibility for checking the contents of the following journals to ensure that the highest quality research relevant to their own interests within these publications is comprehensively and systematically evaluated for F1000:

- PIDJ (Pediatric infectious disease journal) and the Journal of infectious diseases.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr Abanyie is a pediatrician currently in fellowship training in the field of Pediatric Infectious Disease; her main area of interest is malaria control, prevention, and eventual eradication.
