BIOGRAPHY

Greg Martin is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care at Emory University. He is the the Section Chief for Pulmonary and Critical Care and Director of the Medical and Coronary Intensive Care Units at Grady Memorial Hospital.

His clinical responsibilities include patient care as both a medical intensivist and as a pulmonologist/respirologist. His primary research interests are in acute lung injury and acute respiratory distress syndrome, particularly as it relates to fluid management and manipulation of hydrostatic and oncotic pressure, and in health services research in critical illnesses, with a specific focus on healthcare disparities in sepsis.

Professor Martin serves on standing committees of the American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He was selected to participate in the mentoring Leadership Development Forum of the American College of Chest Physicians.
