BIOGRAPHY

Phyllis W. Speiser is an associate investigator and Director of Pediatric Endocrinology for the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in New YorkShe is co-investigator for 'The Diabetes & Obesity Intervention Project' and serves as PI on numerous clinical trials for growth-related drugs.Dr Speiser's laboratory has a long-standing interest in disorders of steroid biosynthesis. Her research group has performed extensive studies correlating genotype and phenotype in families with classic and non-classic forms of congenital adrenal hyperplasia. She currently serves on the Editorial Board of Treatments in Endocrinology.
