Research interests: Since the beginning of her career, Prof. Vidailhet has been interested in Parkinson's disease and Movement Disorders. She has been working closely with Prof. Yves Agid's group and is still involved as a clinician in the U 678 INSERM Research unit in Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris. In conjunction with the set up of a Movement Disorders clinic, she has been involved in clinical research in Dystonia and various types of movement disorders. This research, in collaboration with other groups and neuroscientists covers, innovative treatments (deep brain stimulation) and pathophysiology (neurophysiology and imaging). She is also very enthusiastic about sharing the mutual experience in the field of clinical medicine and neurosciences with her colleagues.
