PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:
Dr French has been active in creating practice parameters, serving on committees of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society and chairing several practice parameter Task Forces. She has served on the board of the American Epilepsy Society and the American Society of Experimental Therapeutics. In addition, she is the head of the scientific advisory board of the Epilepsy Therapy Development Project, a private group devoted to the development of new epilepsy therapies. She is the current director of the epilepsy course for the American Academy of Neurology.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr French has focused her research efforts on development of new therapeutics for epilepsy.
