BIOGRAPHY
Andi L. Shane has been a Faculty Member at F1000 since the 9th December 2009. Having initially contributed as a member of the Epidemiology Section (Public Health & Epidemiology Faculty), Andi transferred to the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Section of the Infectious Diseases Faculty on the 20th September 2011.ACADEMIC POSITION:

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr Shanes major interest is in the prevention of enteric infections, with an emphasis on global health and domestic childcare settings. She seeks to accomplish this through the improvement of the immunogenicity of enteric vaccines and the applications of therapeutic microbiology (prebiotics and probiotics) to reduce diarrhea and improve child health.
