International advisory board
The International Advisory Board advises F1000 on broad policy issues and on its development of new products and services. The International Advisory Board also assists with the selection of Heads of Faculty for each of the 32 Faculties that currently make up the F1000Prime service.

The 2013 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine
Congratulations to Randy Schekman on being jointly awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or for discoveries of machinery regulating vesicle traffic, a major transport system in our cells.
The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2013
Further congrats to Michael Levitt, Faculty Member in Structural Biology, on jointly receiving the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the development of multiscale models for complex chemical systems.

We're delighted that two F1000Prime Faculty Members were among the recipients for the NIH Pioneer awards: Ed Boyden and Jay Shendure.
