Professor of Medicine and Professor of Surgery, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center

RESEARCH INTERESTS
We are interested in the precise molecular mechanisms that drive lymphocyte activation, proliferation and apoptosis. The context of our studies is the acquisition and maintenance of immune tolerance to transplants and autoantigens. We have initiated studies that attempt to 'break tolerance' to autologous cancers in an effort to develop immune based anti-tumor therapies.
