Natalya Yutin is an Associate Faculty Member who works with Faculty Member Yuri Wolf to recommend the scientific literature in their field.

ACADEMIC POSITION:
Group member – Eugene Koonin’s group, National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at National Library of Medicine (NLM), National Institutes of Health (NIH)

EDUCATION:
• MSc in Biophysics (1997) from Kharkiv State University, Kharkiv, Ukraine
• PhD in Molecular Microbiology (2006) from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Archaeal ancestor(s) of the eukaryotic genome; the origin of eukaryotes; the evolution of eukaryotic large nucleo-cytoplasmic DNA viruses; phylogenetic reconstructions; comparative genomics; genome annotation.
