Professor Scott Halstead is currently Adjunct Professor at the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biometrics, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD, Consultant, The Rockefeller Foundation, New York and Research Director and Senior Advisor, PDVI.Honors and awards:

Professor Halstead has served on numerous national and international committees, consultantships, advisory boards and journal editorial boards. He has contributed to more than 225 scientific articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Research Interests: Epidemiology and pathogenesis of arboviral infections, especially dengue. International health development policy and programs. Clinical epidemiology. Research on rubella, measles and polio vaccines. Dengue and Japanese encephalitis vaccine research and development.
