Elisabetta Tabolacci is an Associate Faculty Member who works with Faculty Member Giovanni Neri to recommend the scientific literature in their field.

EDUCATION:
Dr Elizabeth Tabolacci graduated in 1999 in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' and completed a specialization in Medical Genetics in 2003 at the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore in Rome. From 2004-2005 she was the winner of the selection, qualifications and tests for the assignment of a grant for cooperation in research activities at the Institute of Medical Genetics, Faculty of Medicine 'A Gemelli.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Her research experience so far has dealt with X-linked mental retardation and fragile X syndrome in particular, through studies of the pharmacological reactivation of the FMR1 gene responsible for the syndrome and epigenetic studies and molecular characterization of the gene.
