Rosemarie Heyn is Assistant Professor and Researcher in the Laboratory of Electron Microscopy "Pietro M. Motta", Department of Anatomy at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".Her primary research interest focuses on the development and physiopathology of the human gametes and human reproductive tracts (female and male) during embryo-fetal differentiation, adulthood and ageing, with particular regard to changes due to menopause.
She is an Editorial Board member of Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology and active Member of the Italian Society of Anatomy and Histology, the Italian Society of Microscopical Sciences and the European Society of Microscopical Sciences.
