ACADEMIC POSITION:Philipp Holliger is a program leader at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (MRC-LMB) in Cambridge, UK.
EDUCATION:
Phil graduated at ETH Zürich with Steve Benner before moving to the Cambridge Centre for Protein Engineering (CPE) for his PhD and postdoctoral fellowship with Sir Greg Winter. In 2000, he joined the MRC-LMB as a tenure-track and was appointed program leader in 2005.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
His research interests span the fields of chemical biology, synthetic biology and molecular evolution.
