ACADEMIC POSITIONS:David Sahn is Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering. He heads the Clinical Care Center for Congenital Heart Disease and referrals at Oregon Health Science University. He also practices at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Cardiology (Pediatrics) and is on staff at the Grande Ronde Hospital, Legacy Portland Hospitals, Madigan Army Medical Center, Providence St Vincent Hospital & Medical Center and Shriners Children's Hospital.

MEMBERSHIPS:
He is a member of many professional societies, a Master of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Echocardiography and the European Society of Cardiology. He is a member of the editorial boards of the following journals: American Heart Journal, American Journal of Cardiology, American Journal of Noninvasive Cardiology, Cardiology, Cardiovascular Imaging, Circulation, Dynamic Cardiovascular Imaging, Egyptian Heart Journal, International Journal of Cardiology, Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, Journal of Clinical Ultrasound, Journal of Heart Disease, Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, Heart International, Medical Sonography and Pediatric Cardiology; he is also presently an Associate Editor of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
