Following an invitation from David Baulcombe & Joseph Ecker (Heads of the Plant Genetics & Gene Expression Section), Andrzej Wierzbicki was appointed as a full Faculty Member for the Plant Genetics & Gene Expression Section on 27 June 2011.From 12 November 2008 until 26 June 2011, Andrzej Wierzbicki was an Associate Faculty Member who worked with Craig Pikaard to evaluate the literature relevant to their research interests.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
My research interests are mechanisms of non-coding RNA involvement in transcriptional gene silencing.
