John Abrams

BIOGRAPHY

ACADEMIC POSITION:
John M Abrams is a Professor in the department of Cell Biology and Chair of the Genetics and Development graduate program at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

EDUCATION:
He received his PhD from Stanford University and completed post-doctoral training at MIT prior to joining the faculty at University of Texas Southwestern.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Research in his lab applies Drosophila and other genetic models to explore the molecular basis of cell death in health and disease.
