Holden Maecker is Associate Professor (Research), Microbiology & Immunology, Director of the Human Immune Monitoring Center at Stanford University, and a consultant in the field of flow cytometry.
EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS POSITIONS:
Holden received his PhD from Stanford University, where he also did postdoctoral work. He has previously held positions at Loyola University Chicago and BD Biosciences, San Jose, CA.
His research interests include the development and function of T cell responses to cancer and pathogens such as HIV, CMV, and tuberculosis, with a goal of defining cellular correlates of immune protection for these diseases.
In the role of Faculty Member, Holden Maecker contributes recommendations and reviews to the HIV Infection & AIDS: Basic Science Section in the Infectious Diseases Faculty, writing brief accessible comments to summarize the value of the articles and adding rating score.
The Faculty comprises Heads of Faculty, Heads of Section, Faculty Members and Associate Faculty Members, as well as an International Advisory Board.
