Dr. Ward is a rheumatologist with a research interest in health outcomes and outcome measurement in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and systemic lupus erythematosus. Recent work has focused on determinants of functional limitations, the relationship of health care quality and outcomes, and the interpretation of health status scores.
