BIOGRAPHYPiotr Czauderna is Associate Professor and Head of the Department (since October 2004) at the Clinic of Pediatric Surgery of the Medical University of Gdansk, Poland.
Consultant Pediatric Surgeon (from December 2002) and Acting Head of Surgery Dept. (from July 2003 until September 2004) of the Insurance Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Surgical consultant in the Regional Children's Hospital of Gdansk from 1996-2002.

Surgical co-chairman of the International Liver Tumors Strategy Group of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOPEL).
National Coordinator of the Polish Pediatric Liver Tumors Study Group
Surgical Coordinator of the Polish Group for Germ Cell Tumors in Children.
Chairman of the Gdansk Section of the Polish Association of Pediatric Surgeons (former Secretary General of the National Board of this association in 2000-03).
Member of an Executive Board of the International Society of Pediatric Oncologic Surgeons (appointed in 2002).
