RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am interested in early developmental events that spatially and temporally control embryogenesis. Specifically, my work has implicated a number of molecular motors that are required to spatially restrict gene expression and break axis symmetry by actively transporting mRNAs to specific destinations in the oocyte.
