Joseph Zohar

BIOGRAPHY

CURRENT POSITION:
Professor Zohar is full professor of psychiatry at Tel Aviv University, and visiting professor of psychiatry at Maastricht University. He is director at the division of Psychiatry at Chaim Sheba Medical Center in Israel, and Chief Psychiatric Advisor to the Israeli Ministry of Defence.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
The Anxiety Clinic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders such as Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Social Phobia. The clinic focuses on updated treatment and the main interest is in regard to assimilation of functional brain imaging in the treatment of those individuals suffering from these disorders. The clinic also focuses on studying cognitive-behavioral therapies in antipsychotics.
