Pernille Hansen has an MSc in biology and chemistry from Southern University, a PhD from University of Southern Denmark and has spent 3 years as a postdoc at the NIH in Washington DC, USA.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
The vasculature of the kidney, kidney function and blood pressure regulation.
Renal arteriolar function, influence, regulation of renal blood flow, glomerular filtration rate and salt and water homeostasis and thereby blood pressure.
