BACKGROUND:
During her one year Rhinology fellowship in Adelaide, Australia at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital she worked with an internationally recognized sinus and skull base surgeon. During that year she was trained in advanced endoscopic sinus surgery techniques, frontal sinus drill-outs, lacrimal surgery (dacryocystorhinostomy or DCRs), and endoscopic skull base surgery. When she returned from her fellowship she became a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
CLINICAL AND RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Her clinical interests are in the management of chronic sinusitis, endoscopic sinus surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, repair of CSF leaks, surgery of the tear ducts (DCRs) and allergy testing and management. Her main focus of research is in the etiology of nasal polyps and chronic sinusitis.
