Joseph Marsh
EMBL-European Bioinformatics Institute & Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Cambridge, UK F1000 Associate Faculty Member (since 19 April 2010)BIOGRAPHY
Joseph Marsh is an Associate Faculty Member who works with Faculty Member Sarah Teichmann to recommend the scientific literature in their field.
ACADEMIC POSITION:HFSP Long-term Postdoctoral Fellow, Teichmann Lab
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
The wealth of genome-scale data now available for sequences, structures and interactions provides an unprecedented opportunity to systematically investigate principles of gene and protein interactions. The Teichmann Lab are particularly interested in the evolution and dynamics of regulatory and physical interaction networks. To address these questions, they combine computational and mathematical approaches with both genome-wide and individual gene/protein experiments.
The lab focuses on two main areas: (1) transcription factors and the regulation of gene expression, and (2) physical protein-protein interactions and protein complexes.
