RESEARCH INTERESTS:
The main focus of the Waksman laboratory is to gain insight into the structural and molecular basis of secretion in Gram-negative bacterial pathogens. We are particularly interested in unraveling the structures of large, multicomponent assembly systems acting as nanopumps.
