• Molecular mechanisms of inflammation and fibrosis in chronic liver diseases
• Biology of liver fibrogenic cells, including hepatic stellate cells
• Signal transduction mechanisms in liver cells
• Role of chemokines in liver injury and repair
• Pathophysiology of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, particularly for the role of adipokine in inflammation and fibrosis
