CURRENT POSITION:Dr Peter Wilson is a consultant microbiologist at University College London Hospitals, London, UK.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
He has particular interests in the prevention and treatment of hospital-acquired infection. He undertook several of the early trials with teicoplanin and linezolid for treatment of MRSA and is involved with the Design Council and Department of Health in design of equipment to be infection-resistant in the near patient environment.
