Shuangye Yin
Department of Computational and Experimental Biophysics, School of Medicine, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC, USA F1000 Associate Faculty Member (since 10 May 2010)BIOGRAPHY
Shuangye Yin is an Associate Faculty Member who works with Faculty Member Nikolay Dokholyan to recommend the scientific literature in their field.
ACADEMIC POSITION:Postdoctoral Fellow: Dokholyan Lab, Department of Computational and Experimental Biophysics, University of North Carolina
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Shuangye Yin works in the Dokholyan lab which works on a bottom up approach to understanding the evolution of organisms by studying molecular evolution. With the large number of protein structures identified in the past decades, they discover peculiar patterns that nature imprints on protein structural space in the course of evolution. By understanding the cause of these patterns, they attempt to glance at the very origin of life.
