RESEARCH INTERESTS:
The Schedl lab studies germline development of the soil nematode C. elegans.
Dr Schedl is the discoverer of the first known tumor suppressor gene in C. elegans (gld-1) and is currently investigating the molecular mechanisms which control germline development and meiosis.
