BIOGRAPHY

ACADEMIC POSITION:
Research Associate at Federico II University

BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION:
I became a haematologist at the University of Naples in 2001 under the mentorship of Professor Bruno Rotoli. I then spent the following three years working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the NIH, under the supervision of Dr Neal Young; this period forged my deep interest for bone marrow failures.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
After having focused on basic science, I returned to Naples in 2004 where I dedicated myself to clinical research, focusing especially on AA and PNH.
