To investigate the potential of histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDIs) in prevention of stem cell differentiation and in stem cell expansion protocols.
Histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors such as valproic acid (VPA) can prevent stem cell differentiation and enhance stem cell expansion and thus may be useful in stem cell expansion protocols.
