The use of implants for the retention of nasal prostheses is widely accepted. It is not unusual, however, that implant planning and placement is compromised because of an insufficient bone volume to place implants at the preferred location or the presence of natural teeth which roots may interfere with the planned implant position.
When applying the proposed clinical workflow, the patients could be provided with an implant-retained prosthesis to the satisfaction of both the patient and prosthodontist.
